We’re excited to announce the appointment of Deepak Madabushi as Vice President of Ground Operations!  Madabushi brings nearly 20 years of experience to Veho, leading fulfillment and distribution operations at Fortune 500 organizations, including Walmart.com, and fast-growth ecommerce startups such as Fidus Global,  Jet.com and Zulily. As vice president of ground operations, Madabushi is responsible for expanding and optimizing Veho’s warehouse operations, which delivered a record number of packages in 2023.

“Veho is excited to welcome Deepak to our growing leadership team. He brings a proven track record leading high-performance teams that deliver exceptional customer experiences,” said Veho CEO and co-founder Itamar Zur. “Veho is experiencing record growth, tripling our revenue in two years, expanding to 42 markets, and doubling our warehouse capacity. Deepak’s passion for the customer and his relentless focus on operational excellence will be essential as we take the shipping and delivery experience from the past straight into the future.”

Most recently, Madabushi was instrumental in helping Fidus Global, an early stage warehouse automation middleware provider, build out the operation while executing on rapid revenue growth.

Prior to that, Madabushi led the western regional distribution network for Starbucks. His operation directly supported over 2,300 Starbucks stores and majority of the Asia pacific business. He helped scale that operation by redesigning processes and executing on a $75 million capital project to double the company’s total throughput with the help of automation.

Madabushi also started the first west coast fulfillment center for Jet.com, an ecommerce startup that he helped scale from a 20,000 square feet to 700,000 square feet distribution operation in less than two years. Jet.com was later acquired by Walmart.com, where Madabushi was appointed to optimize the largest west coast fulfillment center for Walmart.com.

“When I met with the founders, I was truly amazed at the clarity of the vision and the need to execute at scale,” said Madabushi. “I see the market opportunity and growing demand to reshape the customer experience on package delivery and returns. “I’m excited to leverage my experience to standardize internal processes and improve operations to help the company transform the market.”

Madabushi graduated with honors in mechanical engineering and has a degree in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Southern California.
